Do I need to refrigerate my cake?
Generally our cakes are best at room temperature and we recommend refrigerating up until about 2 hours before service. If you ordered a cake filled or frosted with whipped cream or pastry cream, refrigerate until you are ready to serve it. Some of our products don't require refrigeration at all, including our bundt cakes and Italian almond cakes.
When do I need to place my special order?
For most basic items we ask for 2-3 days advance notice. For larger or more intricately designed desserts we ask for at least a week's notice.
My event is on a Monday but you're closed; do I have to pick up my cake on Saturday?
We are closed to the public on Mondays. However, depending on what the order is, pick up may be a possibility between 10am and 2pm.
Do you have more pictures in your store?
Yes, we have extensive albums at our store for you to look through. The pictures you see online are just a small sampling of our work.
Can I bring in a picture of a cake I want?
Yes, you may bring in or email a picture of a cake you would like. We will let you know if we are able to recreate the design and give you an estimated cost for the item.
Do you do designs with Disney or other trademarked characters?
No, we are unable to do licensed character cakes. A bakery has to sign an agreement and pay licensing fees to legally reproduce trademarked characters. Please feel free to bring in small figurines and we will incorporate them into your finished design.
Does your bakery have parking available?
Yes, we have a small parking lot. There is also street parking available if our lot is full.
Do you offer espresso?
Yes, we are now proudly offering Illy Espresso. We have also changed our hours to accomodate any early morning coffee needs!
Can I buy a slice of cake, or do you only sell whole cakes?
We can cut a slice from any of the 9" cakes in our display case. Come and enjoy a slice of cake and a cup of tea!
Do you offer any Vegan items?
Yes, we have a few vegan options available. We have a selection of cakes as well as a vegan brownie and chocolate chip cookie. Most of these items are done by special order only.
Do you have any sugar-free desserts?
We don't offer any sugar-free items at this time.
I have a specific food allergy; can your bakery accommodate my needs?
We do offer a selection of desserts that do not include items such as nuts or flour. However, we use these allergens in our bakery and cannot completely guarantee their absence in your dessert. Please let us know of your allergy when you place your order so we can be as careful as possible.
Does your bakery accept credit cards?
Yes, we accept Visa, Mastercard, local checks and cash.
Do you ship cakes?
Unfortunately, most of our cakes are too delicate to ship well, so we do not offer this service.
